Silence of the Lambs, Red Dragon, Hannibal, Texas Chain Saw Massacre, Seven, The Exorcist, The Shining, Jaws, Magic, Psycho, The Haunting, The Grudge. Silence of the Lambs haunted me for days, because Anthony Hopkins is sooooo talented! He is also the reason Magic is on my list. Choosing one horror film for me is impossible, so many scare the bejeebers out of me!

i cant watch the excorsist, the new 1(the prequel), amittyville horror is pretty scary too, the scream series is awesome(i even have scream masks in my car!) saw is maybe the best psychological thriller i've seen as of late, the original a nightmare on elm street & part 2, for monster movies i have to go with jaws (tnn tnn tnn tnntnn) and classic would be psycho

For just pure good scary movies, the originals of "The Haunting" and "Psycho".
If you want a lot of gore, the "Saw" series and the various takes of "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" do it.
For a modern thriller along the lines of my original 2, see "The Silence Of The Lambs".

The Shining totally freaks me out but i actually had to move my copy of the Exorcist from my bedroom because it was scaring me sitting on the shelf. Also, a good creepy, cover-my-eyes-cause-this-is-so weird movie is The Audition.
