Either you want someone to do your math homework or you really are having problems with the math questions. If you have a problem or are getting confused with the ounces, and yards, and gallons it is normal if you are first tackling basic math problems. Disregard the unimportant wording and just keep the basic facts you need. For example: Question one you have 4800 of *(something)* and it cost or weighs 5.64 per each (something) The "Something's" in this equation doesn't matter they just want to know how much 4800 multiplied by 5.64 is and the answer is 27072.
For question 2 it is the same thing except you have two problems. The starting mileage was 28,468.7 and the ending mileage was 29173.2 What you have to do is subtract 28468.7 from 29173.2 and come up with 704.5 miles. Once you have that number you can multiply it by the 0.085 to come up with the answer or 59.88
