There quite simply isn’t any economic advantage to attacking North Korea, the way there was with Iraq. It isn’t a fertile ground for natural resources, and it is not ideal for massive reconstruction endeavors that can keep engineering firms employed indefinitely in rebuilding efforts. Furthermore, there is nothing strategically significant about the location. Finally, unlike Iraq, North Korea has a formidable fighting force that can actually inflict serious damage on an invading army. Bush, and his cronies are too cowardly to go after an opponent with some substantial prowess.

Because we learned our lesson the last time. We do not want a war with North Korea and nobody would win. It would be like trying to fight Japan in WW 2 without the nuke. The real question is why are we still on the border. 50 years later.

We are at war with N Korea in a sense. There was never a formal peace treaty signed, only a "cease-fire agreement". We have technically been in a state of war for about 54 years.

Because Iraq and Afghanistan are so much more of a threat to the free world. Yeah right, more likely because Korea has a real military that stands a good chance of putting up a real fight. Not to mention the fact that there only real Allie is China.

Because we're too bogged down in Iraq to actually do anything about a country that poses are REAL threat to us, like N. Korea or Iran.

Why should we be? What have they done to have the United States declare war on them? Now if you want to go fight them along with Sean Hannity and rush Limbaugh go right ahead and spill your blood. Our military if having a tough enough time in Afghanistan and Iraq to go off and fight another Republican war.
