Hello,
Most people, believe it or not don't think the toilet paper brand matters. Believe me, I can test for the fact that it does. I have tested out various brands to see the difference. It makes a huge difference on whether or not you have those soft pillow cushions running through, or you have a flat sandpaper like substance.
Charmin and Quilted Northern are both great brands.

I love the Scott brand single ply toilet tissue. I don't think it is trivial, have you ever been alone at home and realized you had no toilet tissue a little too late ? It wasn't trivial then was it ? lol

quitled northern extra soft. or a another option that most people do not think about is baby wipes but you get the warmer for them heaven on earth.

I don't have a particular brand, all I know is I like it sort of in the middle, not too soft or too rough. Charmin is too soft for me LOL!!!

I just do what my cats do...after I go, I find a nice clean section of carpet, plop my @ss down, and scoot leaving a little brown trial behind me...
I try to find a nice clean section of the antique oriental carpet if possible...The designs hide the little streaks better so my girlfriend doesn't notice...

My favorite toilet paper is definitly Charmin!! It's the softest and the best!!!
