It's a Logik player and lately it's been playing up. First the headphones went fuzzy so I could barely hear anything and now only one ear works!! It's frustrating - anyone else ever had that problem?

Sounds most likely that you have a short in either the cable/input jack of your headphones, or the output jack (where you plug the headphones in.) of your player. A short in either area can cause both these things to happen. First I would try another pair of headphones because thats the most likely problem, and certainly the cheaper of the two to replace. If the second pair of headphones produces the same effect, then you have an electrical short in your players output jack. Which is very fixable, but you need to find someone with some knowledge of small electronics, and probably some soldering skills. If you were in Kansas city, Missouri I could fix it for ya in like 5 mins. If your really in a bind sometimes you can "false short" your own headphones by only plugging them in halfway, or part of the way. Turn on your player so its playing a song. Put on your headphones and slowly plug them in and out and see if there are changes in how they sound. If you have 2 ears working half way in and then only 1 when you plug them all the way in, you could try to get by that way. Although when doing this your not preserving the "stereo field" in your music, and it will not sound quite as good because you would not be hearing the way it was recorded.
