The fine print usually contains the parts that screw you, so the institution that created the contract doesn't want you to read it.
I never sign anything without having a lawyer read it over. I could read it myself but wouldn't understand what I was reading because I don't know a thing abotu contract law, so I let an expert do it.

Just because. The fine print is all the stuff they do not want you to read. It contains all the horrifying things you do not want to hear, like how if you make one wrong move they will take the shirt off your back and throw you out into the street. It also has all the legal mumbo-jumbo that says why you can not sue them but they can sue you and how you are locked in for life and no matter what you do you cannot get out of it. There is so much of this stuff that if they made it big type it would take several pages, so they shrink it down to pin head size and jam it all into a square inch. Most people never bother to read this stuff because it is so small they don't even see it.
As a general rule the big print is unimportant and the small print sells your soul to the devil.

Yes, they're trying to trick you.
Actually, that could partially be it, but in a lot of cases it is just for legal purposes, to avoid costly, lengthy, and largely trivial lawsuits. If the rules are clearly stated up front, they don't have to worry about it.
And, the print is so small because it usually shows up on advertisements, where the actual advertisement is the main focus. An ad where fine print was the main focus would probably not be very effective.

confident, I continuously study in the previous signing a settlement. If I even have questions, I ask in the previous signing. right that's a sprint for any scammers obtainable. on a similar time as reviewing a settlement, if the different get jointly leaves the room, make alterations to the settlement that healthy you superb. Then sign it. opportunities would be sturdy that the different get jointly will sign it as properly with out noticing your alterations. as quickly as that happens, that's too late. That settlement is signed and criminal. Ha! Take that!

Basically, yes - maybe not that "everyone is stupid", but that many/most people are or they're lazy. But you pretty much answered your own question.

What you think they actually want you to read it.
That's where they turn that great deal they gave you into a great deal for themselves.
