Try Bio-Oil. I used it on my scar after heart sugery and it worked well. Plus after losing 9 stone it helped my marks look, well not perfect, but extremeley better than otherwise.

It contains PurCellin oil which is, apparently, a breakthrough oil. It can be used on stretch marks, scars, blemishes, ageing and dehydrated skin.

You can buy iytin the local pharmacy or on the internet. I used it alongside Nivea Q10 cream to firm up the skin.

Bio-Oil contains the unique ingredient PurCellin Oil™, vitamins A and E, Calendula, Lavender and Rosemary oils and Chamomile extract. It contains no preservatives and is suitable for all skin types.

Well, in very very very general form, stretch marks are caused by insufficient elasticity of the skin. This results in the tearing of several layers of the skin when it is stretched (I believe) resulting in stretch marks. To get rid of them, you need to restore elasticity to the skin. Cremes with Collagen and/or Elastin are your best bet (although the ability of collagen and elastin to be absorbed by the skin is likely minimal in comparison to having your body produce more naturally).

While many people use anything labeled cocoa butter (which has collagen and elastin), I personally don't find the collagen or elastin content in most cocoa butter cremes to be sufficient to do enough to reduce the stretch marks. This is probably due that such tend to be more like lotion, than a concentrated cream. What I've found works well for me is the Palmer's Massage Cream for Stretch marks, which you can get at your local grocery store. I lift a lot, and tend to get extreme stretch marks around my arms and shoulders. I've gotten good results by using the creme on the stretch marks over a period of about a month or so. I did a lot of research on the subject a few years ago, and this was the only product I remember having a reasonable chance of having any effect on stretch marks, just based on how they're caused physically. Of course, I'll defer to any doctor on the subject, as I'm only a 10 year competitive swimmer and current attorney, getting most of my knowledge from experience and research alone. Obviously the results will vary, but they seem to be fairly good for this concentrated cream:

There are also several fairly expensive, but more concentrated and more effective collagen cremes that are also available directly from their manufacturers.

Hello,

I used to be insanely fat.. And now, I'm getting smaller. I too, have unsightly stretch marks. Any beachgoers who have seen me, "That guy" will know.. That yes.. I have those stretch marks. The solution!

Cocoa butter stick. Cocoa butter stick, and washing will help fade them.. Wash them well, wash to try and take off some of the dead skin layers then apply the cocoa butter stick to it. You may want to invest in some fade cream as well. Other than that, you should be good. As for home made, I'm not certain.

Unfortunately there is NO medicinal cure for stretch marks. Cocoa butter, vitamin E, etc do not help. The only way to get rid of them is surgery which is extreme.

Do not listen to the hype about anything outside of surgery, it's all lies and false hope. Save your money. Even plastic surgery is too dangerous, but it's the only thing right now that will remove them.

Sorry for the bad news.

I have also heard that rubbing olive oil, avocado oil, etc helps ease the marks. Exercise will help repair some of the damage, but everything takes time. You may also want to ask your doctor or pharmacist if they can recommend anything.

Honestly I don't know if you can ever get rid of them from over the counter stuff. I have them on my hips and the only think that helped my and when I say helped it was just a little was exercising them and regaining the elasticity of you skin. I hop that helps.
