How do you make the play doh soft again after it has gone dry and hard? Is there any way or just toss it out?

Add cooking oil, or olive oil, but only a tiny bit.

Add a little water to it then put it in a plastic bag or put the lid back on for about half an hour.

the insructions on the side of my jar say to add water one drop at a time to restore softness. it also says to store it in a cool dry place with the lid on when not in use. good luck

u should at only a tablespoon of water in then put it in the microwave for 10 seconds or until it becomes soft.

you could try adding small amounts of water until its soft but i dont know if it would work

u shud try putting it in a very hot place maybe it will melt and become soft
