Well how he says it. The way he will act toward you in public and behind close doors.Like for instance my man he will be at work and other co-workers will be around him and he will still say I love you to me over the phone. He is very affectionate toward me in public, around his family or mine, and when we are by our selves. That's how I know that he loves me.

Well if you are the woman, you should know. You should feel his love and know that he is truly feeling these feelings for you. If it is someone else, same goes for them, they should feel it. I can't tell you what it feels like because my other half loves me in a different way then someone would love you or someone else. It should be shown in everything they do. Love is very different then liking someone. When you can tell the difference between the two it will all make sense. Hope that helps!!

You just know...the way he looks at you, touches you, etc. He puts you in front of everything else, lets you be you, is there to catch you when you fall. I wondered this with my first husband, if he loved me so much, why didn't I feel it. Now, with my fiance, I just do. I just know that he does.

He can say it, but his actions will tell it. If he does little things for you like scrape the ice off your windshield or buy you gifts, hug and hold you; kiss you. the way he looks at you.
He will put you first.

It really depends on the guy.
If he's trying to use pickup lines just to "see how you react" then he's the confident type and likes you.
If he seems unable to talk properly and lift his head, then he's the shy type and he likes you
