I'm one of the many girls who wear eyeliner on a daily basis, but all of the brands I buy either 1: come off easily or 2: doesn't go on smoothly. I hate having to put eyeliner on after every class, so I wanted to know of some brands that stay on for a reasonable amount of time.

Liquids stay better than pencils. If you're stuck on pencils, try a putting a sort of base on first that will help it stay in place. Benefit has something called Shelaque (something to that extent). But before you go buy something new, try a liquid concealer on your eyelids before you apply the eyeliner. See if that helps, if not, look into some bases. Check out www.sephora.com, but if you can control a liquid, thats your best bet.

I use liquid eyeliner, and I don't have any problems with it coming off easily. If you buy the kind that comes in a bottle, with a short tip used to apply it, you shuld be happy with the results. Almost every brand carries this item, so try an inexpensive brand first.

Try one of the gel eyeliners by:
MAC Fluidline
Bobbi Brown Gel Ink
Stila Smudge Pot
The price range is $16 - $20 but don't let that put you off because they will last for at least a year or two.
I wear this stuff every day and it lasts right throughout the day with no smudging what-so-ever and requires no touch-ups.

I did use Mary Kate and Ashley liquid eyeliner in black. It never came off until I started working outside. I tried every eyeline imaginable. The one that never comes off is Lancome liquid in Noir. It's a bit pricey, the most Ive ever payed for makeup, but it lasts for months too. It is 26.50. I think in your situation the Mary Kate and Ashley will work just as good if you are inside most of the time. The Lancome is sweat proof though.

I have used a few that work for me, everyones skin is different. Avon, cover girl, maybelline - maybe try putting a little powder on after right under it so it won't run away. I do remember a trick as for the smoothness if it is a pencil is to warm it up, it will glide on better, my sister and I would keep a lighter in the bathroom and just pass the end through the flame once or twice. Of course blow on it at least once so it won't be hot.

I like Clinique's quickliner for eyes. My makeup artist friend recommends M.A.C. liquid eyeliner.
Either way, before you apply liner, put on either foundation or a base that is made for eyes. (Clinique makes a great one.) After you apply the liner, use an eyeliner brush to apply a line of shadow over it in the same color. (You can use powder to set it, of course, but if the powder is lighter, it will change the color of the liner.)

use Bobbi Brown longwear gel eyeliner, it is GREAT. Lasts all day and you apply it with a brush so you can get all kinds of thickness. It also lasts a hell of a long time and does not fade away to that mucky grey colour!

Mac eye kohl its picked to be one of the best eyeliners in Allures October issue with Jessica Simpson on it. I use Mac eye kohl and I love it, it lasts long and goes on easy. If you don't like Mac eye kohl you can try other Mac products because they are designed to last long.
