In english i call it Fall! But in my language (norwegian) i call it Høst! :)

Hi Heather, you are right , they do say , fall in America , and Autumn in the u.k. Unless you were brought up to say fall, but it means the falling of the leaves off the trees , so which ever you like to use carry on, or if you do say fall a lot of UK people will think it means some one as fallen over lol. Au tum I know it as , as that is what my family have always called it. What about spring , why spring , lol , where did that word come from , it's funny how words mean different things . Spring , maybe because the lamb looks as if they are jumping up and down and looks as if they are on springs lol, It,s a funny old language ain't it ha ha . bye Debbie j. x
