Hey David Y,

I suspect he is an artist that signed a work that you have. So, you are wondering who he is? Is he famous? Is it worth anything? I am only making assumptions since you did not help me out here. So, maybe you should ask the experts in that location, go the the library near there. Try a Fine art dealer or auction, they may know (print works).

I looked for both David W, and the print works, neither is popular enough to be found on the internet. You will need to dig deeper and use some creative thought about how to dig up old businesses charters, or licenses.

I have no clue if they produced signs, art, copies of art, etc. Try some of the sites below. Good luck, hope you find it.
