I've never actually watched the show but I would like to buy a DVD as a gift for someone who loves the show but does not own any DVD's...any suggestions?

I love Family Guy it's well funny. The Stewie Griffin Movie is comical quality stuff if they've not got the DVD's they probably won't have seen it (HMV stores sell it!). but all of the episodes are funny in their own way...so possibly season 2 or 3...any of them would be a great gift !!

Well it's always good to start at the beginning so the first series is a safe bet. Other than that, I believe series' 4 and 5 or the movie haven't been on tv so there's a chance that they may not have seen those.
