#1 - HOW LUCKY YOU ARE! Do you know how many girls wish that they had your problem? It's not weight that you need to gain, but muscle to give you some definition. For your total over all health you should be doing some sort of exercise. I have found out that most people who say that they "are active" are not really. I would suggest you get involved in something that would help you create some muscles. If you don't like to do straight weight work or machines - try water aerobics. It helps tone and shape - kick boxing is popular with young girls as is Tae Bo and aerobic dance classes. Check out your park district, local gym, etc. and get involved in something at least 3 days a week. Talk to the people there and tell them you want to create some muscles and definition. If nothing appeals to you in a gym situation - what about dance classes or an organized sport at school? There are so many things that young girls can do today. Think outside the box - explore Yoga, Pilates, Bosu and ball work. Short on cash? There are some great exercise programs on the television.
As for adding curves without exercise - there are push up and padded bras, cinch in your tiny waist with belts and scarves and show off and relish your being petite and thin. I'd be happy to switch bodies with you....:} Find clothes and styles that make you stand out. You can wear things that the average girl can't wear or get away with. Look at the fashion magazines and find a model most like your body and emulate them. Honey, it's easier to look bigger than it is to look thinner.
You are one lucky girl - now realize it and stop worrying about gaining weight.

Good luck--it may be a long fight.
I'm 34, and still eat anything I want, and never gain weight. In fact, the only way for me to gain weight is to work out, which builds muscle mass. Otherwise, I actually lose weight, despite eating lots of donuts and McDonald's Big Macs.
I'm not saying you will go through the same thing. Being a stick can be a great thing, except cold weather can be challenging. In the meantime, look at clothing or undergarments that accentuate what you got, instead of focusing on what you don't.

I know what you are saying I am 26 and only weigh 87lbs. I have been skinny my whole life and I've tried everything to gain but nothing works. I am finally feeling comfortable with being my weight and so should you. And even if you stay skinny you won't be flat all your life because all though I am skinny I still have curves and so will you. You should embrace being skinny it's a wonderful thing. I am sure there are a million girls who wish they were as skinny as you, enjoy it:-)

stupid doctors told me the same thing when I asked about being skinny: you'll grow out of it.
your metaboilism has NOTHING to do with your chest, and maybe a little to do with your posterior, but that can be worked-on. The easiest thing to do I would say is to see about gradually adding a little up top once in a while, but not go from an A to a DD, lol, just see if you can do what nature's taking it's sweet time on, and when you start getting less room in your shirts naturally, you can hold-off on the padding, just be careful not to get carried away and pad them too much before you start to fill-out, cause you may end-up with bras that you have to pad even when you are done with "growing"

Well, for one thing, if you exercise, you'll start to build muscle, which weighs more than fat, so that'll add on some pounds. Also, a lot of atheletes bulk up by eating more protein.
Honestly, I hate to say this, because I know it's not what you want to hear, but there's a lot of women out there who would kill to have your problem. If you stay skinny, in about ten years all of your classmates will be sick with envy.

Who cares about curves? As long as your skinny.
I'd kill to weigh 89 pounds right now.
But chill out on the overeating, it'll probably catch up with you later and you'll be a total fat ***.

In 15 years you will be fat and wishing you were skinny again. Just do your thing and you will change eventually. Someday you will have some junk in the trunk.
