I struggled with acne for years and I finally found the solution that works for me. We have been fooled, tricked, deceived, and just plain lied to. It's time that someone put a stop to it, and everyone learn the truth!

Those of us who suffer from acne have usually been given 2 choices and neither of them work:

1. Over the counter remedies such as cleansers, creams, ointments, etc. These things have been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.

2. Go see a doctor and or dermatologist. They will generally prescribe prescription drugs which include topicals and or antibiotics. This, too, has been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.

I found a step-by-step program that cured my acne and it has never come back. It is amazing and doesn’t use any drugs or doctors. The truth is that acne can be cured…if we know the secret the doctors and drug companies don’t want us to know.

There is a great website: http://cure-my-acne.info/3daycure/ that has all the details. I really suggest you check it out and see if it works as well for you as it did for me.

I use Teatree soap when i have a minor problem with my skin like a small blemish, it has antiviral/antibacterial properties which really cleans your face good. It does not cause any irritation to my sensitive skin. I have also tried neutrogena as a second choice. It works well for woman of color as well and really deep cleans the dirt/oil out of your pores which may be the source of breakouts. Afterwards I apply an astrigent to clean away anything that I miss and a moisturizer to restore the balance in my skin. I don't know why proactiv does not do the trick for me but the others does. If you have a noticeable pimple, do the above and rub a liquid soap on it throughout the day until it dries out. I really hope this helps. Take care.

Don't use tea tree oil!! Acne is usually caused because dirt and oil cloggs into your pores and then becomes infected, so you don't need any more oil in your skin. I was going through the same thing, it wasn't the really bad acne but it was getting there so I started using oil free products, everything from face wash to make up and my skin is now much better, still working on a few scars that the acne left though.

talk to a dermotologist about Acutane - it's awful while your on it, but I had acne from the time I was 10 unitl I went on it in high school. Now, people tell me I have nice skin - I never ever thought I'd hear that!!

If you're not looking for that serious of treatment, I think that just keeping your skin clean is the most important. Wash at least twice a day and don't pile on makeup. And wear a moisterizer with SPF 15 (or more) EVERY DAY!

OK lets be real, acne's a b**** and it's the worst thing to get over but its not impossible. The best thing out there for it right now is Acutane, but, it is not for everyone that's why it is only obtained by a Dr's prespription. Some people tend to be allergic to the medicine, for a few percentage it does not work for, but usually it does, for everyone. It is really harsh on your body though, for women they can't take contraceptives or have kids due to some serious problems that can occur while taking it, other people experience horrible peeling and dryness. Apart from all this, i used to have acne, apparently not bad enough for Acutane (according to my dermatologist) but it was still bad, so i was recommended this over the counter medicine called "Nature's Cure". They have two medicines, one formulated for men, and another for women. Since i started using it i have yet gotten another pimple, seriously, my face is progressing miraculously, alot of the blemishes are gone, almost all. Smooth skin, everyone's complimented on it, trust me, try it out. A few more weeks and my face will be completely clear. To help with this i also get facials done, everyonce in a while to help with the deep cleaning, which helps alot to remove stubborn clogs and blackheads and so forth. I know not all of these over the counter medicines work for everyone, like myself that i've tried Proactive and Murad and all those things and i actually got my face worse due to them. But this one worked, see if you can find it in a neighborhood pharmacy or drugstore, or supermarket (which some of them also sell them), or online in their website. About a diet, the main cause of acne is not your diet, it an old wife's tale, BUT a good diet will prevent excess oils in the skin which will clog pores and cause breakouts, the main cause of acne are your body's hormones, we can't fix those with a change in diet. For me i go to the gym about 5 days a week, and excercise, this helps your metabolism break fatty acids that may affect your hormone production, as well as providing an overall well being for the body and get you nice and fit, a little blood to the old pump is sometimes th best remedy for current health problems as well as future undeveloped ones.. Stress is another factor that people a lot of the time don't consider, it does affect your acne because too much stress will trigger hormone production in the body and well you know the rest. Try to take life easily, i know sometimes it's hard but you gotta try, for my stress, excercise wipes it all out, and it usually does for a lot of people so think about it. Well i hope this helps you and good luck with what ever you end up trying.

Try Neutrogena blemish control/ oil control products. They seem to be gentle enough on the skin. Most importantly, always wash your face before bedtime because sleeping with makeup on clogs the pores badly, which will only lead to acne.

I even have zits and that i've got tried each and every thing to assist it. I used to apply proactive, yet then I didnt think of it replaced into working so I even have tried different issues as properly. i began out getting facials, which reeeally began to assist, yet which could get kinda pricy. happily, the girl who did my facials gave me some hlpful suggestion. First, she reccommended making use of the Murad kit, which I do now and this is remarkable. in spite of the fact that, she mentioned that if i did not locate the money for, there are some domicile treatments. She mentioned to bathe my face with baking soda thrice an afternoon, that ought to assist to do away with and airborne dirt and airborne dirt and mud. Then, as quickly as a week, puree a papaya and use it as a fruit enzyme mask... in spite of the fact that, she mentioned circulate away this on my pores and skin no extra desirable than thirty seconds using fact it could burn your pores and skin in case you circulate away it on too long. the factor is that the enzymes in fruit help to tutor over your pores and skin so as which you dont get a enhance of ineffective pores and skin cells. It sounds slightly surprising yet this woman is large; she particularly knows what she is speaking approximately. ultimately, she mentioned tthat nutrition plan is a huuuge element. Dairy and tomato products would reason your face to interrupt out, alongside with different meals, so eat nutritious nutrients and consider out to shrink out carbonation. additionally, wash your pillow circumstances a real lot, using fact they carry oils and your pores and skin is touching them many hours each and every night. i found that to be a huge one. I placed on a pillow case, use the different side the subsequent night, and then exchange it. Sounds nuts, in spite of the fact that it reaaaly helped. stable success!!

tea tree oil. you can buy it pretty much anywhere, but probably cheapest and best at a health food store. just dab it on your blemishes before bed, and look for them to be gone in the am. much better for your skin than salicylic acid which is what most over counter cleansers and toners have in them.
