Yes. Aging generally is mediated by genes. First, they develop boys into men with changes we all are familiar with.
But most important, when aging means decaying, genes that used to take care of you, stop working, like those in charge of detecting abnormal cells and killing them, avoiding cancer. When this reach and destroy set of genes stop working, they allow destruction.
Molecules are accumulated because genes that avoid oxidization of tissues, lower their intensity of performance, then gray hair, wrinkles, etc appear.

Hell yeah. Genes make you grow pubic hair, lose you're hair on youre head, change your voice, all changes.
