Don't give me that "there are more white people on public assistance crap" either. Without looking at X%blacks and Y%whites. I guess the world just isn't ready for a strong educated white man.

Wouldn't you be proud if you could lay a guilt trip on a whole race of people so bad they give you damn near anything you want including free housing, job quotas, set asides, education your not entitled to and jobs your not qualified for.

Everyone should have pride. I guess you don't have anything to take pride in and I would be surprised if your did with a son with a horrible attitude like yours. Not all Black people are on government assistance just like not all White people are not trailer trash. I will indeed pray for you.

Why do you care so much about black people? You f*cking weirdo... Did you get molested or something by a black man! LOL! Seriously. I'm proud to be an African American because we came here as slaves. But we uprised and gained our independence with the help of the Northern whites and some cool presidents... It must really suck to be in a country with so many of us "stupid *****'s!" GET USED TO IT! Because you can't do sh*t to stop us from being proud of ourselves. If you don't like it, move your @ss! Maybe you'll like Europe? Oops, us "******" are their too! Peace @sshole!

Wow, you are so blinded by your ignorance. A lot of African Americans do not depend on government programs in America, they are independent. African Americans invented a lot of things, like the traffic light and gas masks. An African American also performed the first open heart surgery. I guess black pride is about having pride in things that people like you don't give black people credit for. I live in Japan, and I know more about black history than you. So the next time you decide to generalize an entire race, I would highly recommend that you get your facts straight, because right now you look like an ignorant fool.

Haven't read much on african-american societies and cultures have you,?other- wise you wouldn't have made such an uneducated assumption.Like some cultures we come from kings, queens, scientists, philosphers, and astronomers. Not to mention some of our great speakers and leaders we have had over the years.and if you look back in our history we have contributed a lot more to history than GW Carver, look it up.Not all african-americans are government assistance.

Its the people like you why every other race hates us, what about martin luther king jr, or rosa parks, daniel hale williams or the hundreds of other blacks that helped the world in a positive way

That's true. There's nothing to be proud of. Most black people do need a government program to do anything. They don't believe in earning an income.

Hmmm....there you go overgeneralizing again. I know you want people to believe that blacks are worthless, but, logically, you can't prove anything this way..

To answer your illogical question, i'll say that black pride was implemented after the Jim Crow era when black were continuously made to feel worthless merely because of the color of their skin.

Back then, many blacks weren't even allowed to achieve anything because white people wouldn't allow it. Of course, you'll say that a crock, right? That's called delusion.

Now, what is so wrong with a group of people who have been systematically berated and ridiculed because of their god-given identities to be "proud" of that god-given trait? How is that so wrong? Explain.

Now, with these overgeneralizations....there are millions of blacks who are not utilizing government assistance. But, its not hard to see how the other half seems to be trapped by it. A little history....If you're not a complete idiot, you'll read this..

After the Civil War, blacks were free to leave the plantation and work for an honest wage and, for once, be in control of their destinies. However, no white person would work along side a black person (they threatened to boycot or worse) and so companies, even if they wanted to, did not hire blacks. What did this do? Well, it pushed blacks into having to live in "ghettos" which were made especially for them to keep them away from whites. So, so far, we have the majority of a race of people who weren't able to work...with me so far? Good.

Now, let's pretend you're black and imagine your great grandfather was a fuking loser, K. Just for comparison....let's say great granddaddy was an iliterate man who couldn't make his own money and was running from the lynch mobs making babies on the way because he was trained to be a "stud" for the sole purpose of populating the plantations. Now, you've got all these female-fronted households because the men were running from getting lynched or just didn't value family because they weren't allowed to form any familial bonds because the slavemaster wouldn't allow it for fear of uprising. So your great grandaddy gets lynched and dies. Now his baby's mommas (may be about 10 of them, who knows) all are without a man in the house because.....ding ding ding..they're all running from getting lynched...now, how's a women with kids suppposed to work and take care of her children. They didn't have day care back then. And half of these women couldn't read anyway cuz massa wouldn't allow it. Now you've got baby's momma's kids grown and just as stupid as momma because "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree." These kids grow up and have dead end labor jobs and they have kids (your mother/father) and they instill in their kids to get educated because they weren't as dumb as great grandma and they know how important education is. Luckily for you because you've been taught how important it is to get an education and now when you have your kids, you'll instill it in them and the cycle breaks. Now the rest of your family tree from thereafter can enjoy success in life because they've been raised to value education.

Whew!!!! I've never had to explain such an obvious point...Now, it is so hard to see why so many blacks are on welfare and stuck in poverty. IT'S BECAUSE THEIR MOTHERS, GRANDMOTHERS, GREAT BLAH BLAH BLAH were all products of it. While the cycle can break, it doens't happen with the snap of a finger.

I'm tired of this discussion. I shouldn't have to school you like this. You assume that blacks had the same opportunities as your family tree and you're just being ridiculous.

You can quote a thousand disparaging statistics of how blacks are underachievers, but you always tend to leave out the root cause of that. Remember cause and effect in school - that kind of still applies.....

So...to make a long story short..stop with your propoganda. Anyone who agrees with you is delusional and needs to read a few history books.

I think in this case, you're going to find that black pride is going to consist of calling you a racist and then your question will be deleted by the Yahoo Nazis. even though your question does raise a good point.

To answer your question more generally, I don't know either.
