a prime number is a # whose only factors are 1 and itself. Ex are 5, 19, 29 etc. Any even number except 2 is not prime.
A natural number is an integer that is greater than or equal to 0. Ex. 0,1,2,3,4,5 etc.
A rational number is a number that can be written as a fraction of integers, which means it's decimal terminates or repeats. Ex.5/7, 6.9, 34. Even though .333333 doesn't terminate it can be written 1/3 which is a ration of integers.
An irrational number is a number that cannot be written as a ration of integers. It's decimal never repeats or terminates. Ex. Pi, e, and the square root of any non square. Sqrt 2, Sqrt 44

natural number are these:
{0,1,2,3,4,...}

rational numbers are numbers expressed as a ratio of two natural numbers (or the negatives of natural numbers): 2/3, 116/197, etc.

Rational numbers are numbers that cannot be expressed as the ratio of two natural numbers; there is no "last digit" after the decimal, and no repeating digits.

I don't know what you mean by proper/improper numbers.
