i remeber in my younger days seeing dried out dog phoo that turned white over time but i havent seen one for years now!

Last year!!! I turned a corner with my shopping and nearly tripped over it!! I went flying with my bags,but I never fell.

Ahh, you mean a skeletonized dog turd. This is because of more efficient street sweeping services and also people are more clued up on Poop-Scoops. Yes the good old days when you would see on on every corner. It becomes skeletonized when it's been weathered and all the colouration has leached out. When we were kids in summer, we would take a running kick at one and it would just explode into a cloud of dust.

There is no dried dog poo on the streets nowadays because everyone picks up after theri dogs.
Incidentally, what type of person are you that you put a question about dog mess in an entertainment category?

Good afternoon Law Man :) It was a couple of weeks ago ~ Saturday 22nd May 2010. I went to see the David Essex musical "All the Fun of the Fair", which he is starring in. We had the best seats in the house ~ right in the middle, 10 feet away from the stage ~ and a couple of times he looked right at me!

Not for ages, I remember them from when I was a child though. I think when I was younger more people fed their dogs food like Chappie and Winalot, maybe that caused white poo. Dog food is pretty fancy these days !
On the whole though I much prefer it if people picked up their dogs poo and disposed of it properly, white or otherwise....

It's because they don't put a certain ingredient in dog food any more as it's not meant to be good for your dog. Apparently. I'm not really an expert, can't stand dogs. They make your house smell.

I think it must be some dogfood they dont make anymore causing this. Maybe they made it to make the poo more visible on the pavement !

Its because dogs don't eat marrow bones anymore, thats what made the poop white

you only see white poo when a dog eats biscuits and bones but no meat
