It is discovered that an adult Giraffe have the longest neck.No other discoveries are made on this.For sure we cannot say that "an ostrich" because first of all it is a bird and then it will not come up to a adult giraffe.If the question was "which animal had longest neck" then the answer is Sauropoda{dinosaur}.

The animal (reptile) with the longest neck is a Snake.
Reasons: There is no neck bone. Due to the absence of the same, it becomes difficult for anyone to measure the neck of the snake.
The other reason is that Snakes swallow the entire animal/humanbeing completely.

Not only do they have the same amount of vertebrae as humans, but they have special check valves in their neck's blood vessels which close to keep their brains from bursting when they lower their heads!
