What is your opinion on the Mirena IUD?

i don't recommend it my sister in-law had and got pregnant, also my friend is a nurse and she says many women come back to get it removed after it had moved from place it caused a lot of discomfort and pain to the point were they could not walk. also depending on age there are a lot of risk for infections.

i have the Mirena. I got it fitted because i get menstrual migranes and this was yet another alternative. i love it. since it emits hormones it has decreased my migranes from three a month to maybe one every two months. They aren't so bad that I have to go to the emergency. you can do a web search to get more info.

IT WORKS GREAT ..OK it is probably the safest choice and way better than condoms...
