I have had a few moles removed, but they were due to them looking dangerous. I have a decent size mole on my face that I have wanted off for years, but the doctor won't take it off unless it is threatening. You can have it removed, and there are options for a dermatologist to recomend a plastic surgeon to have it removed so scarring is at a minimum. Depending on your insurance will determine how much it is. The last one I had removed off my arm was a 20 copay then later the bill showed about 180 that my insurance covered. If it bothers you, I'd talk to your doctor or to a dermatologist. But in the mean time, think of it as a beauty mark no one else has.

if in fact it is a mole - you should have a dr. take a look at it and he can refer you to a plastic surgeon. I have had 2 something or others removed. big long name for them but were not moles. I have a very small scar from them, but the scar looks better then what was there. Your insurance should cover the cost of this. good luck.

It doesn't hurt at all. You should check and see if your insurance will cover the cost. One way or another, put lots of Vitamin E cream/aloe on the wound and it will heal with much less of a mark.Be careful how you talk about the mole you want removed. If its for a cosmetic insurance will not cover it. So try bending the truth to the doctor you speak with and tell them you can't see very well..or it hurts..or think of some good reason.

Its VERY easy to have removed, I just had several skin tags and 3 moles removed, one was on my eye just under my bottom eyelash. Go to a skin doctor, they do it right then and there, doesn't cost much and if its small they can do it without lidocaine which numbs it. I had it for some of mine and then not on the others and it really didn't hurt. Go for it. Insurance covers it if you're insured and if not, just ask them how much before having it done.

Forget it Shawna. Why would you want to trade the mole that small for a scar???
How old are you??? chances are the boys your age haven't matured enough to notice how pretty you are. I think if there is a problem it has more to do with you personally than with a mole that small. Make sure you are groomed immaculately, dressed nicely, hair combed, help people every day, be friendly and courteous. SMILE.

If moles that tiny make you ugly I guess the one on my chin that has been there my whole life must be disgusting. lol. It is part of you. If it is that tiny I don't see that being a reason for a boy not to be interested in you.
If you want it removed ask your parents, their insurance might cover it. If it leaves a scar you will have to deal with it, that is a risk.

Unless it's cancerous, do not have it removed. It's much prettier than a scar. Your face is delicate and if it's 0 ----that small, I really don't think that it's keeping you from getting a man.
Your lack of self-esteem on the other hand........

yes i think so because if u have a big mole on your face then it takes away from ur beauty and makes you look uglier than you really are so definitely do it!!!! by the way my sister got a big mole removed from her chin and she looks sooooo much prettier (not that she wasn't pretty i the first place) but shes more confident with herself and she never use to date but now shes engaged!!!!

You are probably the only one paying any attention to that mole. Yes others may see it at first but I don't think the are concentrating on it.
