How do I extend the lifetime of my question?

I have a question pending and need to extend it's time before it expires. I do not see any way to do this .

click on the extend botton

If you want the time when you want people to answer your question you can choose "Extend Expiration" under the little pencil tab on the "action bar".

If you want your question to go into voting, you can select "Send To Vote" or something like that.

There is no way to extent the voting time of your question unless the voting ends in a tie, in which case the votes already cast are thrown out and a new set of votes count towards the best answer. But once people vote and there is a majority at the end of the voting period there's nothing you can do about it.

You can always choose the best answer yourself to make sure that the best answer to your question really is the best answer to your question since it is your question.

Click on the add/save button and extend your question for the max of 7 days.

go to the question and there should be a button to extend the question

do you see that plus sign under your question, by clicking to that make sure you select...and extend it
