Do you remember the side ponytail, and the big bangs, ha ha I was younger, but I remember thinking, the bigger the sides (of my hair) the cooler I am! ha ha What do you remember about your 80's and 90's experiences?

ah yes the side pony tail and the big bangs, may i dust off that
old cheastnut. i did the over permed-hair with the long tee shirt
that you could tie in a knoy on the side or they had the plastic know for you, and i would wear those bright colored tights
that ended at the ankle and had lace around them, plastic hoop
earrings, three layers of socks, and either my LA gear or British
knights sneakers, oh, and lip smacker lipgloss.i thought i was so cool. *shudders*

I remember using lots of hairspray. Stonewashed jeans that you always had to roll up on the bottoms. I remember how rich people were the only ones with vcr's. Now some kids don;t even know what a VCR is. I remember we didn't have cell phone and we actually had to go find a payphones. I remember going to drive in movies which are pretty much extinct now. I remember having cassette tapes and not CD's. I also remember when there was no such thing as the Internet as we have today.

I don't have to remember it. Look at all the kids running around with the side ponytails and the calf-cut tights under their minis and all the floppy, saggy shirts that are walking around!
The 80's definately had better cartoons though.

Yes, those were my daughters hairdos. I remember that alot of the fashions in the 80's and 90's were from the 60's and 70's. History repeats itself and so do fades and fashions.

My lovely MC Hammer pants, oversized shirt with a colorful belt over top, jelly shoes, and the biggest most colorful hoops for your ears. Now for the hair - I used to cut my bangs clear back into the middle of my head so I could get them as high I as I could with that wonderful Rave hairspray!! Now that was cool baby!!! Oh and don't forget Exlamation perfume!!

Those wings were cool weren't they? Big puffs on the tops of our hair and straight in the length. A can of hairspray a week. Everyone wore Love's baby soft. Oh, jelly bracelets! Lots of them.

I graduated in the early 90's. It is so funny because none of the girls hair fit into the graduation pictures. And our senior sponsor told us graduation night, our hats must fit squarely on our heads and not be pointed upwards.
Each one of us looked like we had a blue arrow behind our heads.
So much fun, so many memories....

i remember i was on the train in russia, this was late 90s and i seen a woman in this pink suit. now it was sooo bright it glowed in the sunshine. i also remember the corny music, the platforms (which i worship to this day and pray for a comeback) and i remember in russia ppl used to go around with huge stereos on their shoulders blaring rap music
