I get hundreds of e-mails in the BULK folder, so when a message from an individual goes to the BULK folder instead of my IN box, it is a real inconvenience. Don't understand why this happens!

When an email from someone you want to communicate with goes to the bulk folder, click on the "Not Spam" to tell yahoo it is okay to send it to your inbox and that should be the end of your trouble.

It could either be that they send it to a lot of people, or yahoo just doesn't recognize the address and thinks it's junk. You can set up filters to make sure certain addresses go into your inbox. Go to settings, filters, and specify what you want to go where.

Either they accidentally got on your "block list"- in which case remove them from that list or you don't have them in your address book.

that happens because they used certain keywords in the body of their email like money, dollars, $ etc.
