My ipod nano that i bought one year ago at radioshack is bugged, and apple said that they would replace it. Can they just give me my 250 dollars back so i can buy a video ipod for 50 dollars more? my warranty from radioshack wears off this christmas.

The best thing to do is to contact an Apple store. If you explain that you'd rather upgrade, they may be willing to work with you.

Because the Nano you have has been discontinued, Apple and/or Radioshack will replace it with a refurbished model, not a new one.

Imagine how many people would be trading in their old iPods everytime new ones come out. That's not smart business for apple.

Get it fixed, and sell it on eBay. You'll probably only get 50% of what you paid for it, but it's better than nothing.
