Not at all. Since I have used my beloved Dior Mascara, my lashes are even thicker and healthier than before.

sometimes it all depends on how u apply the mascara look at this secion i found on a good site i get my tips 4rm then view the site good luck!!
So how do you apply mascara? It's best to start with clean eyelashes. Prepare them in advance by using an eyelash curler as close the to base of your eyelashes as possible on your upper lashes.
Begin applying the mascara on the upper lashes, at the base. Whether you choose to hold the want horizontally or vertically is preference but it also may depend on the formula. Wiggle the wand as you go to apply evenly throughout.
A trick for the lower lashes is to take a thin tissue and position it underneath before you apply. This helps you avoid the messy blotches you may get on your face in the process.
If you choose to apply two layers, let the mascara dry for several minutes before applying the second coat. If you're too quick, you may end up with undesirable clumps and smudges.
If you still have clumps, use a metal eyelash comb to lift and separate. If you don't own a metal comb, you can take an old wand and clean it off completely and use it for this purpose only. For super-lustrous lashes, apply mascara to the top of the lashes as well as the underneath.

Mascara will never make your eyelashes fall out if you take care of them. Always wash your makeup off before bed and you should not have this problem. You can rip your eyelashes out curling them improperly. Also, toss your mascara every six months because it can go bad. If you use bad makeup you could possibly get an eye infection that would lead to problems. Oh, and never share mascara with anyone else. Just proper care and you should have no problems. Mascara is my favorite piece of makeup.

if ur mascara is fresh, and kept clean as possible(dont put brush down on bathroom counter, etc.)this will not happen.if ur mascara is older than 3 months, bad things can start to happen.toss every 3 months and get another, just to be safe.dont let anyone borro ur mascara,if they have pinkeye or something,u'll get it.wash mascara off every night.dont ever sleep in it.as long as u follow these rules,u'll be fine.the few people who did have problems, had an infection.eye/eyelid infections, can make lashes thin or fallout.after treatments with antibiotics, they grow back. former nurse.

i don't know for sure, but i've heard that too. and it makes sense for a couple of reasons:
1) if youre putting something heavy on those delicate lashes day in and day out, it's going to wear on them after a while
2) if the substance you're applying contains drying ingredients (i.e. any alcohols) or at the very least, a lot of chemicals (which basically means any mascaras on the market), it's going to wear on the individual hairs too. it's like constantly using hair products on your head hair. chemicals are usually harsh, probably have an effect when applied every single day, for years.

I think it depends on the type of mascara you use and how you take it off.

wearing mascara won't damage your lashes. if you leave it on and don't remove the makeup will cause your lashes to dry out and will cause them to fall out when you rub your eyes.that is why there is special eye makeup remover. also curling lashes after you put mascara on . they stick to the curler and it pulls them out. i think mascara itself isn't really the cause.
