The washer is the culpret, it has backed into the shower and bathtub. What do I do about the bubbles?

(This is funny and nasty at the same time)

Sounds like the branch is backed up. You need to have some one run a snake throught a clean our to stand pipe. I would avoid Roto Rooter, they have high pricing. They may recomend going through a roof vent to clear the stoppage, this can be done is more expansive. If they have to go through a roof vent you should consider havine a clean out installed.

Really, trust me, you don't want to mess with this one. Get Roto-Rooter or Mr. Rooter out and they'll fix it. It's really not expensive in the long run. It happened to me because I was using powdered detergent in the washer. They advised using liquid detergent. It was disgusting to see my bathtub! Go with a professional on this one.

depends if you got city sewage or a septic tank however both may need need professional help if the store bought remedies do not work.
if you have city all you need to make sure if it clean to the end of your property however if it a septic tank you may need it pumped out or worse rebuilt
