In my league, Peyton Manning was taken in the 1st round.
I picked up McNabb after the 4th round.
My first pick was LJ, then second pick was Westbrook. I think i even picked up Torry Holt before McNabb.
Which QB would you rather have? (Statistically i know McNabb is killing Peyton this year; but it's still early).

Let me clarify for those of you who think i have BOTH QB's.... i had first overall pick and took LJ. Peyton went in the first round to a different guy. I then took McNabb in round 4. I just wanted opinions on who you think is a better FF value.

Definitely McNabb is a better choice as a QB right now. Peyton is over-rated; just like TO. He has his good games, don't get me wrong. However he has been very inconsistent this year. Why did he do so poorly against a horrible Tennessee team? Did he feel bad because that's where he went to school or what?

You did the right thing, LJ is the best fantasy player in the league.
As for McNabb vs Manning
Taking McNabb in the 4th round has so much more value than taking Manning in the 1st. If you took Manning you wouldn't have gotten LJ or any other top 5 RB. Having the most valuable RB in the league is so much more benificial than having one of the top QB's. The only exception is if your league's scoring system is so unconventional and clearly favours QB's. With McNabb having a better season than Manning so far, all the better for you.
To the person above that answered " Manning because they're unbeaten". That has no significance whatsoever when it comes to fantasy football value.
Good Luck!!!

This year looks like McNabb's year to shine. He is getting time in the backfield and has a runningback that keeps defenses honest. Normally I would take Peyton Manning, but this year you gotta stick to McNabb.
One thing you may want to think about. The NFC East is the most competitive division in the NFL. That means the Eagles will probably not clinch the division till the last week of the season. The Colts could have the division and homefield advantage locked up by week 13 which means Manning could start being pulled from games. Stick with McNabb.

Manning by a nose
McNabb is an excellent QB, and he makes the other players around him better. Still, I like the comfort of Marvin Harrison and Reggie Wayne a whole lot better than the "flavor of the week" McNabb has to roll with.
Come fantasy playoff time, Indy has an easier Week 15-16 than Philly does.
Still, getting McNabb after the 4th round is a HUGE bargain.
I had the chance to get him late too, but went with Culpepper because I already had Westbrook. Ooops.

Statistically, McNabb is going to continue to kill Manning this year as far as total points. He is having a career year. Ride McNabb all the way to your Fantasy Championship. McNabb alone is probably at least 15 pts better than your opponents QB every week!! Having Manning as your backup is awesome.

i cannot STAND peyton manning. i think he is the most overrated QB in the NFL to be honest with you. i can garentee you that mcnabb will get you more points, he's more mobile, he runs it in the end zone more, he passes well, overall he is a better QB. i hate how everyone thinks peyton is the best, he's just not .. and for the record, even though peyton has one game up on eli, eli is still rated higher statistically in fantasy football this year than peyton .. whos the better brother now?
GO ELI.

You must be killing in your league. Keep both QB's and start the one with the better match up (although I would have started Manning vs Tenn over McNabb va Dallas this week and been mad at myself today). By hanging on to both QB's no one else in your league gets them and you have a great fall back if one should get injured (that does happen in the NFL...)

I'd rather have McNabb. If TENNESEE can hold the Colts to 14 points, then something is wrong in Indy.

For fantasy purposes I would take McNabb. The Eagles have a really soft schedule this year. If I had to pick one of them to win the big game for me........I would take anybody else. These two are as lost as an Amish man in circuit city when it comes to games that count.
