There isn't any Philosophy for excuses, that is a man-made idea. People make excuses to get out of a problem they either stated themselves or their just tryingto cop out of.The philosophy of Life is not to genuinly make excuses,and never to lie, one generally speaking has alot to do with the other.

Making excuses shows a lack of assertiveness. An assertive person can say "yes" or "no" without feeling the need to explain.
