Nickrage says what's Bush got to do with it? The Republican Congress, supported by Bush, let the assault weapons ban expire. This has increased the risk of killings. At least 11,000 are killed per year by firearms. We don't need to add to this terrible statistic by putting weapons designed for human killing into unstable or immature or angry hands.
