It's the Friday after this one, and I really need to know. Trust me, whenever it's non-uniform day at my school, the school turns into a fashion show. Anyway, any suggestions: I'm a 5ft.7 guy, who doesn't want anything chavvy, emo, gothic, nerdy, fauxmo, gangsta, nothing TOO metro, I just want to look very chic and stylish.
Optional task: Anything that will make a slightly overweight person look sexy will put a HUGE smile on my face. I know, I am a bit body-conscious, but bullying has psychologically made me end up like that, but I don't take any crap from them, anymore.

Classic is always good. A nice shirt, not too dressy is always a good choice. Black tends to be slimming and neutral colors are always safe. I'd avoid overly bright and patterned things. If you are trying to get away from the formal look of a uniform, try wearing a dress shirt over a nice T-shirt. No matter what you wear, make sure it is good quality.
The two most important things are 1) wear something that fits well, even if it is larger than you would like to admit. Squeezing into something too tight just looks bad. 2) Be comfortable. Besides wearing something that fits well, make sure it is something you feel good in, physically and emotionally. If you feel awkward you will look awkward.

Jeans are the best pants to wear on a ufd (uniform free day) everyone does and its comfortable. Polo shirts are always good with a white tee shirt underneath. Tee shirts with a sarcastc picture or somethn on it is alwaysnice, but as long as its nothing too dorky. Cargo pants with the pockets ive always thought were cute. Just something that will always be in style.

Jeans definitely and a nice tshirt possibly with a hooded sweat top over it and boots.
And if it's any consolation, my slightly overweight husband always looks good in the above and I wouldn't have him any other way. When you get married and your wife is cuddled into your chubby bits on a cold winter night you'll know what I mean!!!

Ok, here's your non uniform uniform:
dark dark jeans with skate boots is very cool with a white tshirt and on top a button up shirt (chekers) open!! you could also add a thick belt and a hat to add "coolnes" i read all the details so i think it would look coool!

If its really bothering you then you can always look on a clothes website,
like top man, zara etc somewhere which is affordable and sells nice quality clothes
there you will be able to look at really good clothes with out trying them on yourself and if you like them then order online or go shoppin.
