This is your blood child. You have every right to see him. I wouldn't let her bother you, it's not the relationship between you and her it's the relationship between you and your son. Build on this, you are this child's father, and from what I can gather, you are a very good one. Most fathers seem to disappear after the divorce and have very little to do with the children. Hang in there, your son needs you, and will respect you more as time goes on. Best of luck to you and your son.

No, don't leave town because she wants to act like an idiot every time you go see him. She should be thankful that you WANT to be an active part of your son's life.

Just let whatever BS she says go in one ear & out the other..your son is #1...end of story.

Good for you for being a dad....Marilyn

I feel for you, my bf deals w/the same thing. here's what i think, you already are a bit out of the pic in somthings b/c u cant spend every day w/your son watching him grow and i can only imagine what thats like. and your thinking about just givng in to her and moving..so u could be even MORE out of the picture? She has things against you fine thats her prob..that shouldnt stop you from seeing your son. what would your son think if you moved? all he'd see is daddy moved and doesnt see me anymore? you have to stay there and forget about what she says.. for you and your son. keep on being there for him and bein the best dad that you can!

First of all I would like to give you props for still being around for your son.

Second I would advice you to stay for your son sake.
I know at times it can be hard to listen to anyone say sh** to you, but in the long run all that really should matter to you is your son.

There is so many kids out their without a Dad, don't let your kid be one of them.

Lot of Luck to you and your son.

Stick it out. Your son needs you no matter what anyone else says. She can say all the bad things she wants. But your son DOES really need you to be there for him. If nothing else you will be able to show your son when he is older that his mother is wrong about you. Plus you don't want her to be right. Do you?

You be the bigger person here. Say nothing bad about her in his presence. Ignore what she says to you and continue to LOVE your son. He will learn what he needs to learn and about who when the time comes. Dont give her the satisfaction of staying out of his life.
