Yes, they are like little sponges. They are ready to absorb anything you have to say. They enjoy learning and love everything. (except for when they are sleepy) They give lots of big hugs and use crayons and paper to create pictures to give to you.

Of course hun, being in the presence of small children is wonderful. They have such an innocence and are always so happy. Not a care or stress do they have, and they always find a way even when you are feeling like the world is on your shoulders, they find a way to make you smile and laugh. They make you see the importance in many things, even when it is just in the simplest forms. There is nothing like the smile of a child. Have a good day!!

Babies, yes. But I didn't enjoy older children (4-10) until I had one of my own. I believe once you're a parent, you tend to tolerate things much more.;o) I even wondered if I could love my daughter during the 'ugly' stage. You know, when they're around 8 or so.... the stick legs, big teeth, and what-not. But I did, and now can't imagine what in the world I was thinking!!! ;o)

Yes, Small children look at the world around them with wonder and awe... When you are with a small child you get to share in that wonder and awe as they discover new things...

I delight in hearing a child in a resturant exclaim amazement in a new food or a child in a park delighted by the anctics of a squirrel or bug...

As an adult I have lost some of that sense of wonderment and enjoy seeing a child still filled with wonder and amazement at everything that is new to them...

I hate to say it, but some kids drive me crazy. I have a pretty good tolerence level for my neices and nephew, but my neighbor's kid's drive me insane. I am a mother of one and another on the way. I feel kind of bad that I don't just adore all children, but I guess it isn't so horrible. I don't like every adult I meet, why should I have to like all children?

Yep. I like 2-6 year olds the best because they have such a facinating view of the world. I went to the zoo with a preschool group and one little girl told me that we had to hurry up to see the anteater before it died. Then we got there and it was sleeping. She told me it was dead. Only a 3 year old can come up with such logic. :)

Kids are so cute and fun to have around they just create fun from nothing and have funny little scenarios that they just create and be in and its a hoot to just run around and watch them laugh at things that i wish i could find so fun but wen you hit 15 you seem to have to act all grown up and its fun to just be able to act like a fool and get away with it!

it depends on how annoying they are. some little girls are really annoying because they try to be like 15. boys are not so bad when it comes to that but then they always scream. but some little kids are fun to be around.

Yes, if they are well behaved. They just make you happy - although I"m sure my perspective has changed since I am a new mother.
