Hi swathi
there are new nail polishes that will peel right off. if you are lazy or know ahead of time that you wont have any remover available, a peel off is a good polish to use but will chip off faster than most.
but i feel painting another layer of clear polish over the existing layer works real well!
One nail at a time, use a clear nail polish or a light/sheer color and paint over the nail color you want to remove. Then, immediatly use a paper towel to wipe off the nail you just painted. Continue until all polish is removed.

Just buy a non-acetone polish remover. It costs the same as the other stuff and is available right next to it in the drug store!

Be back.
I am back.
In most countries acetone is illegal to use. It's not sold, it is toxic, your Q? confirms it , some people get very sick, it can cause cancer. There are other products at least I am allergic to most if not all.
You can use a nail file and scrape it off. This is also done with safety blade and a small scraper.
