Yes. but come the draft the raiders are likely to be first on the clock. "With the first pick of the 2007 draft the Raiders select......... someone really really fast who Al likes who doesn't fit the system makes no plays and probably isn't someone the coaching staff would have gone for........again ".

The Raiders (ie Al Davis) have repeatedly failed to find talent in the draft and in the free agent market. As a result the roster is simply very weak. I'm not a huge fan of Art Shell or Tom Walsh, their poor coaching, system and play calling are part of the problem too, but we simply need better players across the entire roster.

Watch this off season as in an attempt to get an immediate turn around we overpay for and fill our cap up with over the hill household name veterans and lock in failure for another couple of years

So in answer to your questions yes we can win (1 maybe 2 games) change at the top hell yes (please) and yes again we need to wait for Al to die. Don't expect him to retire. In football terms debilitating dementia set in years ago and he aint budging.

Hate to say it (because I like Art Shell), but the Raiders are a sinking ship. All that talent going to waste. Dissention on the team. They may need a young new coach (all John Gruden) to infuse some discipline and fire into them. The Raiders at times look like a JV squad out there. They really need a QB. I can't believe they passed on Matt Leinart or Jay Cutler. They need to build for the future. Aaron Brooks wasnt the answer in N.O and sure as hell aint the answer in Oakland. Andrew Walter just plain sucks. They need a mobile QB who can run and is somewhat consistent. I am a huge Raider fain and it just kills me to see they way they are losing these games. I hope this season doesn't start another decage of rebuilding like in the 90's.

Maybe one win or two. That's it. Al Davis needs to go Period.

The is the WORST ran organization in all of professional sports. They need to get over the fact that they can't keep getting "recycled players" anymore and still be competitive.

not likely, and Al Davis is over the hill on football knowledge just like Art Modell was and at least Modell had enough sense to give up the team.

I heard enough complaints about the Raiders last night to get the impression that the answer to that question is no. I am not a bookmaker.

Just can't help but hear, say.

It will be a tough season for them. Especially when their captain Randy Moss made the comment that he doesn't give a crap about the team because no one else does.

I'd rather put my money on the Bears.
