Dear Highlander,
" This too will pass"
Some days are too awful, some weeks are too awful, occasionally whole months are awful: but by then you should really consider going to your Dr,in fact ,ring up tomorrow and make an appointment to see your Dr, if they ask if it's an emergency say yes.
Just unburdening yourself to a professional who will listen and not judge will be a great help.
As for jumping: They did a survey on all the people in USA who survived jumping off a famous bridge/suicide spot:
They nearly all said that as they were falling (it's a long way up) they realised that the thing that had driven them to it was no longer important: and that their biggest problem was that they'd just jumped off the bridge and they might not survive.
So the good news is :nothing lasts for ever, that includes feeling this bad.
All the best
M
If you want ,call the Samaritans, they have a 24 hr line. You have already taken a big step forwards by asking this question, feel good about that.

TALK to someone--anyone --who will care and show compassion. Things are never as bad as they might seem at the moment. There is always hope in life. The hard times will pass and things will get better. Think of how a drastic action might affect those you leave behind. And you may not see it or ever know how, but you being here in this world has touched people's lives and made a positive difference in their lives, even if it has been someone you've only met one time. So think of how many others lives you may touch in the future and possibly make their lives better for having met or known you.
Your life has a plan, and a purpose and a meaning--as it is for us all. Please find someone to talk to and take care.

Hi

Well bit of a tough question.

Do you know why your depressed?
Friends are great to talk with, you know your friends better than we all do, so do what you feel you can handle.

You know what life is so hard and there are so many emotions that go on around in our heads. Sometimes its so diffcult to process all of it.

Moms are great listeners, you know as much as they ***** and as nasty as we think they are, They truly only have one insterest at heart and that is of their children.
No matter what is going on in your life, she'll understand and guide you best she can. She gave you life..

Hell i need help all the time.. we all do.. we live and we learn,, thats how we all survive..
Don't go at it alone, no one should..

Well.. sorry you are so low... if you have friends near or on the end of the phone do call them..they will know where you are coming from. A true friend will stop and listen. If that is not an option then speak to SOMEONE...does not matter who...dont fret alone! PEOPLE DO CARE ABOUT YOU! ok ? Good luck...

Sure, talk it out with a friend, a trusted, mature acquaintance, or a therapist if that would be best for you. There's no shame in that, and getting professional advice is most often the best way to deal with real issues. Believe me, they seem so much lighter afterward.

A stranger will tell you the truth - a friend will tell you what you want to know, then go behind your back and talk about it to others. Friends can be really cruel when you talk to them about the same problem over and over again.

If you are depressed find a mutual friend who will listen and talk. don't run from your problems or feelings they wil only track you down. Maybe you have a pastor or know a good counselor, doctor or just a good friend who is willing to listen. If all else fails write your feelings down on paper

Hi ,
You need to talk and you need to do it now! no jumping no doing something stupid. Try a friend if you don't feel any better try a preacher from any local church if that doesn't work try a psychologist and a doctor for meds. Depression seems to stem from a chemical imbalance. If you need us here on YAHOO we are here to listen and answer and talk.
It will all get better I promise.

See your Doctor! In this day and time there is no reason for a person to feel depressed! There are many many medications that can just take the edge off life to make it more "comfortable"

It's a crazy world we live in...Enjoy it!
