Hi! When you get closer to the end of pregnancy, the baby starts to shift more downwards. If you are feeling added pressure down there along with shooting pains then chances are that the baby's head or weight has been pushing down on some raw nerves. I had that a few times and the best thing you can do is get down on your hands and knees and do cat stretches. Flatten the back and curl the back... This will encourage the baby to move around a little and hopefully will help it too push less on your nerves! Good luck!

I got a lot of pain in the last few weeks, all the ligaments are stretching, the weight of the baby etc. unfortunately i can not say you are having the same pains and I would advice you to speak to someone medically, i know you say it's not possible at the moment, but you could ring your local maternity unit for advice. Don't take a risk, you and your baby must come first.

It can be braxton hicks contractions but also its probably ligament pains. I was experiencing bad pains sharp ones like he was trying to cut himself out and I went to the doc. and he said it was ligament pains. Normally you dont get very many your first pregnancy but I did. So not everyone is the same. It also hurts when he moves really hard down there and sometimes at night as well when I stretch. You still have a bit to go..lol..me too Im 37 weeks but it will eventually be over. Good luck and hope that everything works out well for you!

The baby is just get to postion. When the head is down there and the baby moves you could have a pain in your back and in your vagina. It is the baby pussing on your bones. Good Luck. I'm 38 weeks and my baby got into position at about 31 weeks it only gets worse when the baby moves futher down.

It is probably the stretching and and pulling. BUT you should contact your doctor to be safe. She can do a pelvic and make sure the cervix isn't opening yet. 32 weeks would be considered a premmie. So get that checked out!

I have been having the same pain to. I am 30 weeks. It mostly hurts when I am trying to get out of bed or sometimes it will hurt when I am just walking. Haven't figured out what it is yet. I do not go back to my doctor until next week. Have you figured out what the pain is yet?

Midwives are good for some things but things like this need a real doctor. Your baby could possibly be in distress. I'm not a doctor but I have had children. I would go to a doctor.

could be premature labor. I wouldn't worry. If you start having contractions that are less than 5 minutes apart, I would go to the hospital.
