Most companies take on at 16 but the law is changing some restaurants will only take 18 plus.

depends on the state you live in and the rule of the fast food place...i worked at a mcdonalds in wisconsin when i was 14 almost 15...they are only allowed to have like 3 14 yr olds at a time adn due to child labor laws you can only work like 8 hrs a week i think (this was in 96 when i was 14...it may have changed since them)

In the UK, it's 16. The same age that you have to be to legally work anywhere.
