Comical idiot. He's a great laugh. Probably the best man in his party.

Boris Johnson is a breath of fresh air in politics. He is probably an original thinker and a visionary and quite probably has an exceedingly high IQ. If he appeared on Bremner, Bird and Fortune he would be admired by all and sundry. We need more like Boris to smash the 'air of mystique' which career politicians have constructed around themselves. And if Boris sleeps around well - there but for the grace of God go a large number of the rest of the incumbents of the Palace of Westminster - the place I regard as the National Assylum.

Neither. Boris Johnson is being touted as the 'joker' of the party. he basically says what he wants and offends whoever he likes in the name of a joke. As a Scot i am particularly offended at his continued statements that england does not want gordon brown as prime minister purely on the basis of race (ie that he is scottish).
he may well play the party idiot, but that he certainly is not. nor do i believe he is a comic genius (although his hair style is rather amusing). He is a dangerous man stirring away, whilst david cameron projects an atmosphere of love and harmony.

Boris is a bumbling idiot, the product of public schools, bit like Prince Charles, but we all love him. Wish he would get a haircut though.

Boris Johnson is a properly respected journalist and a guy of letters. that's obvious out of your question is which you're a liberal apologist, a member of a minority group, handicapped, gay or another discontent.

Maybe a bit of both. Is it just me, or does he look like a Little Britain character? I'm sure he's actually Matt Lucas in a wig-he sounds exactly like him too in certain sketches.

A very decent chap who defies categorisation as he is not wholly 'old-school'- in fact he is very up to date in many respects.
Some will say he is a lovable eccentric- I say his niceness may actually make you think that he isn't the very sharp, clever man that he is. The closest person to his style is Gyles Brandreth.
