I can't believe that normal people out there would want there kid to be named Coco or Moses. are celebrities just that far out there?

boy, I thought I was just being judgemental but I'm glad I'm not alone on this one. some of your answers crack me up.

I do not plan on having children. However, if I were going to, I'd name my child something sensible. There are plenty of fine, traditional names out there without having to resort to something that sounds as if it were made up by a five-year-old.

It's too extreme these days.I think it's bad enough when they choose a weird spelling for a regular name - like Syndi - you could never buy the kid something with their name on it. Of course, if you're a celebrity, you could have anything personalized...

Sure if I had kids I'd choose:
Agnes (Aggie for short) for a girl and Euripites for a boy (Rippy for short).

I wouldn't. Kids have enough problems in school without having to be teased about their name. My grandpa's name was "George Washington" and my granny's name is "Mary Magdalene". They were teased a lot by kids.

I have thought about naming a girl Fuchsia Noelle
I think it flows together and sounds pretty and its not your normal name.
I would never name my kid something like apple now that just weird!

Not me, man. I was given a fricked up name and I hated it. You'll never catch me doing that to my kids!

My husband wanted to call our daughter Water - as our second name is Mills I vetoed the idea!
We called her Flower instead!
