I want to make a travel site , i do not know nothing about programing so a choice would be website builder. Do you think i can start with that and then if everything goes well ask someone to do it better?

The thing is, school children can code websites with HTML. This shows that if the website is used with a website builder, take geocities for one, it dont look very pro at all, which will lack teh seriousness of the project.

My advice would be to learn a lanuage, or use packages such as Dreamweaver which can imcorporate perfessional services such as coldfusion etc

For the front end of the site sure there shouldn't be much processing there just viewing and inputting information into forms. Now for processing the information and displaying the flights and stuff a total different story. You can go to http://www.epricing.net/e7y/

No. It's not matter of knowing html or Java, ASP but having access to airlines schedule and inventory information. You would need contact GDS to get your project going.
