It seems like they could get a lot of mileage writing about important social and cultural issues rather than just writing about bitches, blunts, and how much money they have... It doesn't mean that they couldn't write some songs about slappin' ho's, but come on!! There have got to be other important topics that interest people. Right?

Amen brother!!! Your preaching to the choir!! Thats exactly why I started listening to other genres reggaeton is latin rap but its nothing like that whack a$$ hip hop. Hip hop is def not what it used to be 10 years ago I tell ya!! Rappers today rap about absolutely NOTHING!!! Hip Hop now is disgusting and degrading. And all the videos are all the same!! Video Hos shaking their "money makers"" WTH!! Men with gaudy blinged out jewlery and disgusting grills with leased cars that they wish were theirs. LOL I like your last line!!

IMO a million. Eminem aka narrow shady 2. Kanye West aka Yeezy 3. newborn Cudi aka mr rager 4. 50 cent aka mr i've got been given shot 9 cases and lived reason i stay that thug existence. 5. Lil Wayne aka rapper who makes songs with ninety% metaphors and 10% giggling in the process the music, yet one hundred% rubbish 6. That's how those, "hip-hoppers" are. They all come from bad areas of this country. And they were poor, and had to face violence, poverty, gangs, and disfuntional families while growing up. They just write catchy songs, so they can get money and women. They don't care abou real topics. Only like Eminem does. I guess that's because he's white. I'm not trying to be racist. I'm just making an observation.

Its the rap personna you say you have more money than you do, more women, more sex, more cars, more everything. Its all just one big cockshow. There are some that choose to write about important things, though.
