Hi Guys!!! I want to know has anyone here ever had a wedding on a weekday or know of someone who has???? I'm really into doing things in a unique and different way, and I really would like to have my wedding during the week instead of the traditional Saturday wedding. Don't get me wrong I think weekend weddings are great, but I wanted to have mine on my B-day as well which is a week before Christmas to make it even more fun!!!! I know everyone here won't agree, but I just wanted to get some answers and opinions on this. Thanks and have a great day!!!

Its always cool to do things different and to do them your way. But if I was gonna choose during the week I would probably have a Thursday night wedding so people who work M-F can take off on Friday. I think that would be cool. Some office parties are during the week and people party, why not a wedding. and If you have low attendance who cares. less to pay for and the people who really care enough to be there will be there. and if your family is complaining, tough, its your day.

Are you planning a reception to follow? If so I heard weekday wedding ceremonies and receptions are cheaper than the traditional Saturday. It is your day. Do what makes you happy.

It's your day!!! Do it when and how you want. Only drawback is people tend to work during Mon - Fri, you may end up with low attendance.
