I travelled all over Egypt which while not striclty Muslim is certainly predominantly Muslim and no, they do not use their hands.
In many cultures though it's customary to use the left hand (with toilet paper) as the right is the hand we use to greet people.

That's a myth, but they use their left hand to wipe with. A friend of mines son was over in the middle east for awhile and said that they shake hands with their right and not their left because they use their left to wipe with.
