I heard MS Word is not safe even you have nice antivirus installed. What's the best way to email with nice formatted text document? I been told to use plain text. But plain text is too plain, right?

I would recommend PDF.

Go to the site that has all the information for sending attachements through the internet in email program.

Write the program in word and then print it to PDF. There are several freeware programs you can use for this. Just search for free PDF printer
