He's still better than over half the other NFL QB's, so I don't think he should retire mid-season, but it's just so crappy to see him go out for such a horrible team with such a horrible defense.

If he gets traded, where would you like to see him go, or where SHOULD he go, and why?

I think either Dallas or Minnesota are good fits for him, because they both start veteran QB's who are on shaky ground, and he's definately better than either of the two, and both are still roughly in the playoff picture.

I'm a Bear fan but I think it would be wrong for Brett to play for another team. As others have said he has been the heart and soul of the Pack for a long time now. He should never wear another uniform as a player. Its just unthinkable and I think it would be a slap in the face to all of the Green Bay fans to whom he has meant so much.

If it means he can end his career with a winning season, I'm all for it. It would be strage to see him in another team's uniform though!! I really respect the guy. I think he is still a good QB and could do a lot better if he had a few weapons. I would NOT however want to see him as a Cowboy!!! I think Minnesota would be a good fit. The new head coach, Brad Childress, worked with him in Green Bay too.
He wants to stay with Green Bay but he said he would leave if it would mean that GB would get some higher round draft picks to help them re-build the team.

He needs a good cast around him to thrive, he cannot carry a whole team all by himself. If Green Bay had a decent backup, perhaps it would be time for Brett to step into a Mentoring role and just pass on the tons of knowledge he has about the sport, the game and his position.

I don't see him anywhere else than Green Bay, and I would pretty disappointed to see him leave that team, as he been the face of the Packers for so long now.

If Favre gets traded it'll be crime against the game of football.

There really should be a place for old players to go that should be retired but won't.

Heck no!

Favre IS Green Bay, but he should have retired 2-3 years ago. It looks like he's forcing things now and despite what he says, his surrounding cast (especially with Ahman Green always hurt) isn't that good.

Why would they want to trade him? Hes the best player they have and hesTHE francise player. Bret could go another couple of years. He is a tough guy. He will probly retire before he gets traded

I think he should've retired 2-3 years ago.

The way Big Ben has been playing, the Steelers could use him.

Brett Favre said he will not play anywhere else. He will retire before that happens.
