You can use the "Launch Web Version" of Yahoo Messenger located on the bottom of the Yahoo Messenger page. I've used it before and it work alright - you can only do the basic functions of sending and receiving IM's and you can see some emoticons. However I noticed that I get an error a lot of the times that freezes up the program and it won't let me back into if for hours and that can be very annoying.
