Its possible....but there will be some problems. For example Aries is a very masculine sign...what this means is they don't "whine", they don't complain and I've never seen an Aries feel sorry for themselves. They take initiative and get things done....

Where as Cancers are pretty whiny, they tend to play the why me card a lot and they can get overemotional at times. So you can see these two signs are definitely different. But m y best friends are Cancer and Aries and have been together for a long time...they get along perfectly because of the differences in their personaliteis. they are able to balance each other out very well. Cancers can handle Aries outbursts and they both have excellent senses of humor.

As an Aries who had a 3+ year with a Cancer, I say run! Run fast and far! Seriously...

To be fair, my Cancer had some truly deep issues around trust, and manipulation was a huge coping technique. I felt trapped. And scared towards the end - my Cancer was a master manipulater who became so cold-hearted that I had no choice but to run. I ran far, and to this day will have no contact with this person. It has been 10 years.
