Rights to Bozo are owned by Larry Harmon. In the past few years, he's apparently been unsuccessful at marketing new Bozo concepts and cartoons.

depends on which one you are thinking of Bozo the clown was a character that was played by willard scott for a few years (yes willard scott was bozo the clown for some time) one bozo past away, one ran for a political office (I believe his last name was harmon not sure) then I think they have someone playing him now

He retired to Jacksonville, Oregon. He died there from lead poisoning. There is an exhibit in the Jville Museum
